Entries for 2020 SA & NT Rural Media Awards now open (Sept 2020)

Entries for the prestigious 2020 SA & NT Rural Media Awards are now being accepted and winners have the opportunity to have their work compete on the world stage.

As major sponsor of the Awards, Rural Business Support is keen to promote high quality journalism, photography and communication as a key mechanism to achieving greater understanding of the rural sector.

2020 will be the 25th year the Rural Media Awards have been conducted.

In accord with the changing profile of information distribution across both rural and urban communities, this year’s Awards recognise the growing role of communicators as an adjunct to the traditional profession of journalism.

With a total cash prize pool of $6,500 plus the opportunity to compete at national and international level, the 2020 SA & NT Rural Media Awards are considered by Rural Media & Communicators SA/NT to be the pinnacle of achievement for rural writers, broadcasters and photographers.

Entries close on 1st November 2020.

Further information and entry forms can be accessed via the “Awards” tab on this website, or if accessing remotely, at
