Chairman of the influential SA Beef Industry Blueprint Working Group, Kangaroo Island’s Bruce Creek recognised that the South Australian beef industry was unquestionably tied to a global network of production and marketing technologies.
Bruce Creek learned a lot from a 4½ year stint working in the Far Eastern European country of Kazakhstan as manager of Sever Agro N’s large-scale Angus beef operation.
In turn, the Republic of Kazakhstan’s beef industry benefited enormously as a result of his presence in that country. The Kazakhstan based business Bruce Creek managed grew to become one of the world’s largest registered Angus herds.
With the ground-breaking SA Beef Industry Blueprint about to be released in the near future, Bruce Creek reflected back on how his innovative work in Kazakhstan influenced what the South Australian beef industry is about to experience.
To gain an exclusive insight to Bruce Creek’s views on beef production in Far Eastern Europe and how the South Australian industry can move forward, registrations are now being accepted for Rural Media SA’s 27th April Luncheon.
